On the other day I was reading an article that stated the 10 most researched recipes on Google during the month of March and can you guess which one was first?? I bet you probably might have an idea, but if you don’t, it was BANANA BREAD!!
I have to admit I had never eaten banana bread before quarantine, but after seeing it all over the internet, I decided to research a few recipes (I totally helped ranking it no.1 hahahahaha) and after trying one or two, I finally came up with a delicious one (that it’s also HEALTHY and SUGAR-FREE) and I have to tell you… I’m obsessed!!
I seriously don’t understand how it took me so long to try baking banana bread. It’s such an easy and quick recipe and it’s worth every second it takes! I’ve been baking it at least once a week (when it’s not two), because my mom and I love it and we don’t rest until it’s over (my dad and my brother don’t even bother to try it because they’re so picky with everything “healthy-ish” but I don’t even get mad because that means more banana bread to me hahahaha).
This recipe will make your bread so moist and fluffy and I really wish you good luck to fight your will to eat it all at once!
Ingredients: (for 1 loaf)
-3 ripe bananas
-1 teaspoon of cinnamon
-1 teaspoon of baking soda
-125ml of almond milk (feel free to use any other)
-20 tablespoons of quick oats (blended into flour)
-1 handful of nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
1.Pre-heat the oven to 200ºC
2.Mix all ingredients and then place them in a loaf ban and bake the banana bread for 25 – 30 minutes (or until a toothpick placed in the batter comes clean)
3.Feel free to eat it plain or to add a layer of peanut butter (highly recommended!!)
